The Bairo Aito before it gets crazy

Coolest Wine Bar Ever

Susan and I being the young whippersnappers, decided to go out to eat the second night in Lisbon. We went to the part of town our book referred to as a great night life area. The Barrio Ailto. We walked around and it was a ghost town, lost dogs, beggars, closed doors, nothing open. We got really discouraged then we came across this cute wine bar. As we quickly learnend the Europeans do not go out early.... We were the blue hairs in town....

It was a tiny little street, where they gave you the stools you see above. However the street wasn't closed to traffic.

We missed Aspen

Our First Dinner in Lisbon

This is one of many Italian meals we had in Portugal and Spain. Yes I said Italian, my Wifey is a picky eater... HA! This meal was amazing, and only about $35 for apps, a bottle of wine, and platters.

The Lisbon Welcoming Commitee

In Portuguese this read "WELCOME TO LISBON SUSAN AND CHRIS!"

Our Hotel Room

Our hotel room was incredibly posh. Being the smart guy that I am, I called ahead and let them know we were comming on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. It had two rooms, multiple flat screens, a free fully stocked bar, and best of all, my new wife.
